Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the Operator (the “Operator,” “we,” “us”) handles information connected with your use of the search tool published as homesearchlab (the “Tool”) and its features (the “Service”). It forms part of our User Agreement and is a binding agreement between you and the Operator whenever you use the Service. If you do not agree with it, please do not install or use the Tool.

You confirm that you are at least thirteen (13) years old. The Operator does not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and any such information will be deleted once identified. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with information, email contact@homesearchlab.com. Users under 18 should read this policy together with a parent or guardian.

Data We Gather

The Operator collects aggregated, non-identifying data (“Statistical Data”) about your device and your use of the Service. This can include technical signals sent by your device, your browser type and default search preference, your operating system, language, the date and time of access, the referring page, your approximate location, your internet service provider, and your IP address. In some jurisdictions certain items, such as an IP address, may be considered personal. Statistical Data is used only to operate, refine, customise, and develop the Service and to carry out research and analysis.

If you contact us for support and choose to provide details such as your name and email address, the Operator collects that identifying data (“Contact Data”) solely to reply to and assist you. Where technically feasible, the Operator will ask for your consent before collecting Contact Data and will offer an opt-out.

Disclosure

The Operator does not sell or share your Contact Data with third parties, except where it holds a good-faith belief that disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law or a governmental request, to enforce its agreements and defend legal claims, to investigate or prevent fraud or security issues, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Operator, its users, or the public.

Statistical Data may be used or shared for the purposes above and with service-provider partners — including search-feed suppliers, support vendors, and analytics providers — to help analyse and improve the Service. The Operator may also share information with affiliated companies, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, provided the recipient honours this policy. If Contact Data is ever combined with Statistical Data, the combined set is treated as Contact Data for as long as it stays combined.

If you reside in the European Economic Area, the Operator will take appropriate steps to ensure your Contact Data receives adequate protection when transferred outside the EEA. Where your jurisdiction requires consent for that transfer, your acceptance of this policy supplies it.

Cookies

The Operator and its providers (for example Google Analytics) may use cookies — small text files stored on your device — to run the Service efficiently and remember your preferences. You can disable cookies through your browser settings, but some features may then stop working correctly. More on cookies at allaboutcookies.org; on Google’s analytics data at google.com/policies/privacy/partners; and on the Google Analytics opt-out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Third-Party Services

This policy does not cover third-party sites or services you may reach through the Service. Their practices differ from ours and are beyond our control, so we recommend reviewing their privacy policies before use.

Your Controls

You can uninstall the Tool and reset your device settings at any time. Subject to the laws of your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, amend, or delete your Contact Data; to exercise them, email contact@homesearchlab.com. The Operator may need to verify your identity before acting. You can also withdraw consent and opt out of collection through the Settings menu, though some features may then become unavailable. You may opt out of certain third-party advertising cookies through the Network Advertising Initiative and Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out pages.

Retention & Security

The Operator keeps collected information only as long as needed for the purposes it was gathered, unless a longer period is required by law or to maintain accurate records (for example, in the event of a complaint). Strong safeguards protect information against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure, but no method is entirely secure and the Operator cannot be responsible for access beyond its reasonable control. If you believe your privacy has not been respected, email contact@homesearchlab.com.

Do Not Track

The Service does not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals. Learn more at allaboutdnt.com.

Changes

The Operator may update this policy at any time; changes take effect on publication, and the date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept it. Where a change materially affects your use of the Service or our data collection, the Operator will make reasonable efforts to notify you through the Service.
